Relief work during Covid 19 Pandemic in 2020 & 2021
COVID 19 Response 2020
Worked with the Delhi Government, MCD, MCG, other Governmental Agencies and other charitable organizations to provide:
- 2 millions fresh cooked meals
- 5900 ration kits in states including Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Rajasthan & Maharashtra.
- Over 3,00,000 packets of biscuits, rusk, cakes, breads and chips
- 2000 PPE kits and face shields
- 1000 litres of milk to children
- 7000 packets of juice
- 50 tons of fruit that bought directly from farmers.
- Sponsored buses to assist migrant workers and their families reach home safely.
- Distributed dry food packages and water to migrant workers on their journeys.
During the 2nd wave, in 2021 the relief work focused on medical aid
- Sponsored a ventilator for a government hospital in Chennai
- Distributed 22 oxygen concentrators to rural hospitals and old age homes in the most vulnerable areas
- Distribution of 66 oxygen flow meters.
- Provided cooked 5,000 meals per day in Delhi -ensuring good nutrition, the first line of defence.
- Distributed over 4000 ration kits
- Distribution of 30,000 N95 masks to break the chain of infections
- Distributed PPE suits to crematorium workers and sanitation staff
- Provided snacks and energy drinks to hospital staff, patient’s attendants, ambulance drivers.
