  • Schools with in House Cooking facilities

Grain Banks and Grain Distribution

The 50 grain banks that we have built have proved to be a boon for the tribal communities of Koraput district, Odisha. Grain banks are village-level institutions which provide loans in the form of grains to help households meet food consumption requirements over the agricultural cycle.

Grain banks are a productive and sustainable asset for the community and a critical support system during the periods of food scarcity. They are instrumental in breaking the vicious circle of debt.

In addition to grain banks we run regular grain distribution campaigns in the hunger belts of Odisha & Jharkhand
