Relief Programs
The organization is always ready to help during any calamity or disaster occurring in any part of the country. In 2013 when Uttrakhand was affected, a team of FFHF visited the affected area and after understanding the situation extended its support directly and through various other organizations.
Uttrakhand Relief Program
The details of the support given is shared below
PHASE-1
Relief material distributed with the help of FTS(Friends of Tribal Society)

PHASE-2
Education sponsorship
- Four students received one year fees sponsorship for their higher education like B.Tech., B. Prarma and Diploma.
- Seven students received one year school fees to complete 11th and 12th class in Joshimath.
- 39 BPL category students received financial assistance for winter dress, shoes and stationary.
PHASE-3
- 300 blankets, socks and caps distributed with the help of SHARD (Dr. Kailash Bhatt)
- 14 students of Jyoti Vidhyalaya, Joshimath received one year fees.
- 7 students received fees for one year of graduation and 12th grade.
Orissa Relief Program
After the Hudhud Cyclone in Andhra Pradesh & Orissa, 250 tripaal and 65 quintal rice was distributed to the affected families in Koraput district of Orissa with the help of local organization SPREAD. SPREAD volunteer visited affected villages to understand the damages by Hudhud and got the immediate need of the villages. After this survey they approached us to help by tripaal and rice.
Assam Relief Program
In 2012 during the communal violence in Kokrajhar district, support was given to Friends of Tribal Society with rupees 1 lac rupees to rehabilitate the affected community.
Jammu & Kashmir Relief Program
In 2014 during the Jammu & Kashmir flood, blankets, tripaal, rice & pulse were sent through individuals and local level organizations.
